FZI Branch Office Berlin

Since June 2011, FZI has a branch office in Berlin situated in the ATRIUM building on Friedrichstraße. With this new office, FZI is seeking to strengthen its supra-regional position by establishing new contacts with politics and associations on a federal level and strengthening existing relations to major project partners.

Several partners from Baden-Wuerttemberg accompany FZI’s endeavor by sub-renting office spaces. FZI’s new Berlin office is also representing the Innovationsallianz Baden-Wuerttemberg for the Baden-Wuerttemberg Ministry of Economics. The scientific lead of FZI in Berlin is Prof. Dr. Stefan Tai, director at FZI, whose research group moved from Karlsruhe to Berlin. The group’s key research areas are cloud computing, service computing and web applications.

Currently, we are setting up a showroom exhibiting FZI’s competence and accomplishments in applied research and development. Future visitors may not only see but also experience innovations with interactive samples.
