Felix Brandt studied CS/Informatics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology where he graduated in October 2010. His studies were focused on algorithms and software engineering. He received his diploma writing a thesis about solving a large-scale energy management problem. Since November 2010 he works as a research scientist in the Logistics Systems Engineering unit in the department IPE.

During his studies Felix Brandt already researched problems from logistics and crew scheduling. His research interests further include combinatorial optimization, constraint programming and graph theory.
