Caroline Jähnig

Caroline Jaehnig completed her degree in Psychology at the Georg-August-University in Goettingen in March 2009. She spent one year of her studies as a scholar at the University of California. Her main fields of interests are Business and Organizational Psychology as well as Experimental Methods. As a student she worked as teaching assistant and research assistant at the department for Business and Social Psychology in Goettingen. For her diploma thesis she conducted an experiment to investigate the role of biased information search in financial “escalation of commitment”.

Since August 2009 she has been working at Research Center for Information Technology. She is mainly involved in the European project xDELIA which aims at investigating the role of emotions in financial markets.
