I received the B.Sc. in electrical engineering and M.Sc. degrees in computer science from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Nis, Serbia, in 1994. and 1998., respectively. In 2004 I received my PhD degree from the University of Karlsruhe for a thesis on "Methods and Tools for Ontology Evolution".
I worked 6 years as a research/teaching assistant at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Nis, Department Computer Science.
Since 2001. I am a research assistant in the Knowledge Management Research department at the FZI (Research Center for Information Technologies), University of Karlsruhe. I have participated in several R&D programs funded by the European Commission’s IST Programme related to ontology-engineering, e-learning, e-government and knowledge management. Currently I am a technical and scientific manager of the OntoGov project (IST). I have published more than 30 papers in international journals and conferences in the areas of ontology engineering and e-government.
