
Arne Roennau studied Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Karlsruhe from 2002 to 2008. He specialized in the fields of control systems and robotics. He did his diploma thesis "Local adaption of a walking machine with a 3D environment model" at the Forschungszentrum Informatik (FZI) at the University Karlsruhe (TH). Since November 2008, he is employed as a member of the scientific staff of the department Interactive Diagnosis and Service Systems (IDS) at the FZI (Forschungszentrum Informatik at the University Karlsruhe (TH). Currently he is working on controls for walking machines and mobile robots. He is also involved in 3D environment segmentation and modelling. Since April 2011 he is leading the department Interactive Diagnosis Systems (IDS).
