Kristian Regenstein studied physics at the University of Karlsruhe (TH). He specialized in electronics and fluid mechanics. He wrote his diploma thesis "Position-dertermination of computer-assisted artefacts of common use" at the Telecooperation Office (TecO), a branch of the Institute of Telematics at the University of Karlsruhe (TH). From 2002 to 2010 he was a member of the scientific staff of the group Interactive Diagnosis- and Servicesystems (IDS) at the FZI (Research Center for Information Technologies). In 2010 he received his PhD for his dissertation "Modulare, verteilte Hardware-Software-Architektur für humanoide Roboter". He is member of the SFB 588 "Humanoid Robots - Learning and Cooperating Multimodal Robots". He focuses on humanoid robotics and the developement of a computerarchitecture for humanoid robots. |
