Hendro Wicaksono received  his B.Sc degree in Informatics from Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB) Indonesia in October 2002 and his M.Sc degree in Information and Communication Engineering from University of Karlsruhe Germany in February 2006.

From 2006 to August 2009 he worked as IT Consultant for System Integration in e-Commerce. In autumn 2009 he joined ISPE/PDE Department at FZI Karlsruhe.

His works focus on semantic technologies, ontologies, data mining in PLM and energy management.
