Dr. Christian Bartsch was the manager of the research division Software Engineering and member
of the management board at the FZI. He worked in several national and international (research) projects in the field of user profiling, service-oriented requirements engineering and process management. His research interests comprised Business Process Management (Modeling, Analysis and Improvement) and IT-Service Management – ITSM (Strategy, Quality Assurance and Performance Figures). He also worked as a visiting scientist at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center in New York, USA. Christian Bartsch headed the working group “Training and Education in ITSM” and was a member of the extended Executive Committee of the IT Service Management Forum (german chapter).
