Martin Küster

Mr Martin Küster studied computer science at KIT, Karlsruhe, and at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with specialisation on software engineering, compiler techniques and information systems. At FZI, he accomplished his study and diploma theses about textual syntaxes for models (advisor: Dr.-Ing. Th. Goldschmidt, supervisor: Prof. Ralf Reussner).

Since january 2010, Martin Küster has been with FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik working as a researcher in the Software Engineering (SE) division. As a PhD student he's a member of Prof. Reussner's research team at KIT.

Research interests and focus include:

  • Traceability of architectural decisions and non-functional requirements
  • Evolution and maintainability of software architectures (group of M. Trifu)
  • Metamodelling and model-driven development

Current projects

  • VERDE: Verification-roiented & component-based model-driven engineering for real-time embedded systems
  • Modagile Mobile

Previous projects

  • SLA@SOI researching model-based prediction of non-functional qualities of service-oriented systems
