In an increasingly connected world with computer-based support in many different areas of life, high demands are placed on the underlying hardware. This hardware must be fast, energy-efficient and secure against attacks. The FZI Research Center for Information Technology works on these topics in various research projects and investigates the application of artificial intelligence in various sub-areas.


Multiple topics are available with different tasks, including:

  • Training of AI for specific security applications
  • Comparison of different AI training methods with respect to security applications
  • Development of hardware accelerators on FPGAs
  • Participating in the development of an automotive security analysis tool
