Jacqueline Höllig studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), specializing in computer science. In her master's thesis at the Institute for Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods (AIFB), she dealt with predicting the behavior of evolutionary-based robots through machine learning.

Since February 2020, she has been working at the FZI in the area of Information Process Engineering (IPE) and is mainly concerned with Explainable Machine Learning.
