Juan Camilo Vasquez Tieck (M. Sc.)

Werdegang
Camilo studierte von 2002 bis 2007 Maschinenbau mit Schwerpunkte in Produktentwicklung und Steuerungstechnik, und von 2004 bis 2010 Informatik mit Schwerpunkte in Softwaretechnik und Mechatronics an der EAFIT University Medellin.
Im Anschluss belegte er den Masterstudiengang Informatik von 2011 bis 2015 am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT). Seine Schwerpunkte liegen in den Gebieten Kognitive Systeme und Humanoid Robots. Seine Masterarbeit "Generic Framework for the Mapping of Human Motion Data on Humanoid Robots" fertigte er am High Perfomance Humanoid Technologies Lab (H2T), Institute for Anthropomatics and Robotics (IAR).
Seit Juli 2015 ist Camilo als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Forschungsbereich Intelligent Systems and Product Engineering (ISPE) des FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik tätig. Als Doktorand ist er Mitglied der Forschungsgruppe Technisch Kognitive Assistenzsysteme (TKS) und arbeitet in the Human Brain Project der europäischen Kommission im Rahmen des "Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) Flagship" Programms.
