Research Division ISPE

The research division Intelligent Systems and Production Engineering (ISPE) develops and evaluates methods, tools, and design processes for implementing software-driven, technical systems.

Microelectronics and distributed embedded systems, autonomous cognitive systems, intelligent assistance systems, the development of service robots, information management during the product development process, and integrated energy management are our main research subjects.

Career

Tobias Hoppe hat von 2007 bis 2014 am Hasso-Plattner-Institut für Softwaresystemtechnik an der Universität Potsdam IT-Systems-Engineering mit den Schwerpunkten modelgetriebene Softwareentwicklung und Geschäftsprozessmodellierung studiert. Der Titel seiner Masterarbeit war "Fact-Based Modeling for Eclipse Applications". Sein derzeitiger Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt auf der modelgetriebenen Softwarearchitekturentwicklung für multi-domain Umgebungen (Kooperation mit Airbus Defence and Space).

Career

 Yasamin Mahmoodi received her B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Hardware Engineering with focus on Nano Scale circuit design from Shahid Beheshti University (Iran) in 2010 and 2012 respectively. After graduation, she worked in the Network Security area from 2012 to 2016. Since July 2016 she is with FZI and a doctoral candidate at the University of Tübingen. Her research within the research department Microelectronic System Design (SiM) is dedicated to Automotive Security assessment based on virtual prototyping.
