On July 10, 2019, our network partner DIN – the German Institute for Standardization invites you to a workshop in Berlin. The topic in focus: Standards & norms, functionality, security & traceability for the planned AI platform AI2Ynet.

The following questions will be discussed: 

  • Which standards, norms and regulations in the field of AI are relevant for the development and use of the platform?
  • Are there further needs for standardisation in this regard?
  • How can the functionality, security and reliability of the AI components and the platform be ensured?
  • Are there any certification procedures that can make the security and quality of AI applications traceable?

Dr. Peter Deussen (Microsoft Deutschland GmbH) and Jörg Firnkorn (Neurocat GmbH) will introduce into the topics with two lectures,  Edin Klavic (RapidMiner GmbH) will link to the specific challenges concerning the development of an application platform. Subsequently, possible needs for standardisation will be determined.

  • 14:45 p.m. Coffee break 
  • 15:15 p.m. Summary of the results and further procedure
