F5 – Refresh Your Knowledge
The branch office of the FZI Research Center for Information Technology in Berlin cordially invites you to the first political breakfast "F5 – Refresh Your Knowledge" on October 30, 2019. The first topic of our political breakfast is "Digital identities: Who owns the digital self?".
Starting in October, the FZI branch office in Berlin organises a dialogue and breakfast format, in which we inform you in short keynote speeches about current topics of applied research in information technology and, in which we want to facilitate the exchange and networking between research, politics and associations on site at the same time.
We invite you to the launch of the format on October 30, 2019 at 08:00 a.m. to the FZI branch office in Berlin. The researcher of the FZI, Dr. Jan Sürmeli will give an impetus from applied research on the topic of "Digital identities: Who owns the digital self?" In a relaxed, familiar breakfast atmosphere, the focus is set on discussions, the clarification of questions and the exchange of experiences.
Why digitalisation affects us all
The digital transformation is no less than a fundamental transformation process. It affects strategies, the communication, business cultures, organisations, value chains and operative processes. Depending on the sector and the field, different challenges, but also comparable solutions arise.
Exchange pays off
Designed as a networking format, F5 – Refresh Your Knowledge understands itself as a dialogue platform from which all participants shall benefit on site: With its expertise, the FZI wants to provide political, civil society and scientific actors with fundamental background information and knowledge on current research topics.
Making research visible and tangible
In the framework of a keynote speech with a subsequent discussion, the event series F5 – REFRESH YOUR KNOWLEDGE combines knowledge, support and exchange equally: While referents of the FZI inform, amongst others, about new approaches in AI, cybersecurity or democracy in the digital age, interested participants work out new ideas and incentives over croissants and coffee and can subsequently personally exchange ideas and network.
In order for you to get to work on time, we will start the event at 08:00 a.m. and close it on time at 09:00 a.m.
