Exhibition and Symposium PARKEN

Exhibiton and symposium for the planning, construction and operation of stationary traffic

The exhibition PARKEN shows the entire range of the parking industry from the renovation of parking garages to cashless payments.

Following the opening of the exhibition by Dr. Karl-Ludwig Ballreich, head of the Bundesverband Parken e.V., further speeches will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Welzer, professor of social psychology and director of Futurzwei, Stiftung Zukunftsfähigkeit, and Marko Gustke from the co-ordination team “networked and automated driving” of the Verband der Automobilindustrie VDA, the association of the automotive industry, as well as Tilman Bracher from the German Institute of Urban Affairs (Difu).

Dr. Alexander Viehl presents a concept and the goals of the test area autonomous driving Baden-Württemberg (TAF BW) on behalf of the FZI. The TAF BW enables companies and research institutions to test future-oriented technologies and services related to the topic of interconnected automated driving in everyday traffic. These technologies are for example automated driving of cars, buses or commercial vehicles such as street cleaning services or delivery services. Furthermore, regulatory and legal aspects can be updated. Therefore, traffic areas of all kinds are currently under construction and highly precise 3D maps as well as sensors for the real-time monitoring of the traffic and its influencing factors are being installed.

More topics at PARKEN are:

  • Display and guidance systems
  • Payment system
  • Access control

  • Money processing
  • Maintenance
