The FZI at the Cyber Security Forum CyberSicherheitsForum 2019

The trust in the security of digital applications decreases steadily in the light of increased publicly known cyber-attacks. However, trust is the prerequisite for the success of digital change.

At the 1st CyberSicherheitsForum under the motto “Wirtschaft. Digital. Sicher.“ (Economy. Digital. Secure.), experts will discuss how to deal with dangers caused by cyber-attacks, cyber espionage or cybersquatting, and which technical innovations are particularly at risk, and which measures companies can implement for the cyber security. The forum, which takes places at the venue Haus der Wirtschaft, is addressed to decision-makers and experts from economy and safety authorities.

In a panel, Dr. Dirk Achenbach, manager of the Competence Center IT Security, presents the Cyberwehr Baden-Württemberg. The contact point and counselling centre for small and medium-sized companies, which is a research project, coordinates the initial aid after hacker attacks and networks actors of safety authorities, economy and science with each other. By the end of 2019, the regional infrastructures for the initial aid in case of an IT security incident shall be established nationwide. The Cyberwehr is currently in a pilot stage in which it exclusively supports companies in the Karlsruhe area.
