In the framework of the science festival EFFEKTE 2019, the open house day will take place on July 3, 2019 at the FZI. We would be pleased to welcome you at the FZI House of Living Labs. Come by and inform yourselves about current research contents. In personal discussions with employees, questions can be answered or you get to know the FZI in short tours through the laboratories.

10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: The doors of the FZI are open

Free time to take a look at current research contents in the Living Labs or to find out about job opportunities and career possibilities at the FZI.

10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.: Guided tour through the entire FZI House of Living Labs

In an approx. 30-minute tour, the research focuses of the individual research divisions will be explained and the opportunity to experience the Living Labs up close will be given.

Subsequent to the open house day, there will be an evening event, in which employees of the FZI will present the concept of the project AI2Ynet (Apply-It-Yourself) to FZI alumni and the FZI Friends' Association. Further information on the evening can be found here.

The FZI Living Labs:

IT security in embedded systems, called "embedded security". Within this area we research on solutions to protect the know-how of devices, software, hardware, and production data.

The FZI Living Lab Software innovation:
Augmented reality for process and data visualisation.

The FZI Living Lab smartMobility:
Research on intelligent load strategies in order to charge considering the state of the grid and the state of charge of electric vehicles with respect to the grid and resources.

The FZI Living Lab Automotive:
Continuous verification, validation and testing of developed algorithms and methods via realistic simulations up to prototypical realisation with our partners in instrumented test vehicles.

The FZI Living Lab smartHome/AAL:
Increase in comfort and security by means of intelligent home automation, e.g. turning off electrical devices when leaving the house.

The FZI Living Lab Service Robotics:
Development of innovative service robotics solutions for challenging, force-based assembly, joining and handling tasks also for the human-robot collaboration (HRC).

The FZI Living Lab smartSecurity:
Adapted development processes and tools for a model-based design, evaluation and optimisation of highly interconnected systems and cryptographic procedures.
