At the booth in hall 7, various 3D printers can be found by means of which it will be shown how current robotics and traditional manufacturing technologies can be efficiently combined for a flexible manufacturing of the future. In addition, researchers present the project Sim2Log, which is carried out together with Truphysics GmbH. Its goal is a simple planning and validation of robotics applications for logistics with virtual and augmented reality. The innovations of the sixth generation of this six-legged walking robot are shown by means of a prototype of one of LAURON's legs.

Furthermore, the FZI presents innovative solutions around edge computing from data connection to data analysis at the Arena of Integration in hall 6. The exhibit demonstrates the simple integration of real-time data from heterogeneous source systems and the generation of complex data analyses for manufacturing companies by means of an easy to operate user interface with the open source solution StreamPipes, developed at the FZI.
