November 6, 2019: "Creative Exchange on the Topic of IT Security"

Cyberattacks pose one of the biggest threats to the German economy, according to the Cyberwehr Baden-Württemberg. However, the topic of IT security, which is still underrated, is often neglected by companies -– with the result that hackers or blackmailers have an easy job of it and that in the worst case the damage could be life threatening.

Besides that, there are many parties that do not underrate the topic but do not know where to start. Many questions arise: What do I need in my company context? Who can help me? How do I implement security-building measures? Which experience values have been gained so far?

The cost-free expert event "Creative Exchange on the Topic of IT Security" imparts basic knowledge and demonstrates which factors are important for the IT security. Whether small, medium-sized or large-scale company, research institute or start-up: Through the creative exchange at OpenInnovation@HoLL across all industries and companies, IT security becomes tangible and applicable.

Subsequent to a keynote speech on open innovation, this concept will be practically and creatively implemented in a micro barcamp: Here, you will have the opportunity to share own IT security ideas and projects, generate new ideas, maximise innovation potentials, receive impetus for the orientation and development of your strategies and network sustainably.

Subsequent to three keynotes on "Social Hacking: Trickbetrug im Neuland" (social hacking: confidence trick in the unknown territory), "Open Innovation und IT-Sicherheit: Anwendungsfelder, Chancen und Risiken" (open innovation and IT security: application fields, opportunities and risks) and "Die MiRO und das IT-Sicherheitsgesetz" (the MiRO and the IT security act), the playful approach to IT security is followed by a creative slot. In a panel discussion, start-ups from the field of IT security will give insights into the opportunities and limits of open innovation. The subsequent World Café is presented by PionierGarage: Here you will find ideas and solution approaches on financing, pilot customers and market entry -– a practical insight into innovative methods, which establishes new impetus and perspectives onto own business processes.
