The FZI develops concepts to analyze data available in companies using innovative methods of data mining, machine learning and recommender systems.

For example, customer- or contract-specific preferences can be identified and personalized offers provided via multiple digital channels.

Modular ecosystems for cross-service and cross-solution usage enable customers to use their digital identities securely. This also includes concepts
concepts on how customers can use services securely on their potentially insecure devices.

To optimize business decisions, the FZI researches predictive
data processing methods based on the anonymized data of employees.

Research at the FZI is working on scalable assistance systems as well as augmented
and virtual reality to connect the entire value chain of a company.

This creates the basis for the development of new, sustainably competitive
smart services.

The FZI researches innovative data analysis concepts enabling companies to personalize business models based on internal or publicly accessible data
while offering employees better services within the company. Thus, services for customers and internal business processes are optimized in a resource-efficient and competitive manner.
