Career

Ralf Reussner is Vice Dean of the Department of Informatics at KIT and heads the Dependability of Software-intensive Systems research group at the KIT Institute for Information Security and Dependability (Institut für Informationssicherheit und Verlässlichkeit – KASTEL). His work focuses on establishing software engineering as an engineering discipline. This includes the systematic establishment of software architectures, their quality assessment, and their systematic implementation in code using classical and generative methods as well as the automatic analysis of existing code.
