Job Description

The FZI is a non-profit institution for applied research in information technology and technology transfer. It is jointly responsible for the establishment of the DIZ | Digital Innovation Center, which as a state-wide institution is intended to provide significant support to Baden-Württemberg's SMEs in the digital transformation process. In Karlsruhe, we are looking for a full-time research scientist in the field of information technology to support the DIZ team in its establishment as soon as possible. The contract for this post is initially limited for two years and generally divisible.

Your Responsibilities

  • Independent editing and development of so far built up tools, websites and portals
  • Conception and implementation of software projects, such as web applications, apps and server applications
  • Administration of the departmental infrastructure (GitLab, CMS, VMs)
  • Support regarding the construction of demonstrators

Your Profile

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Informatics or Business Informatics
  • Knowledge of web development (Angular2+) preferable
  • Knowledge of back-end development (Node.js, ASP.NET, IIS7, MSSQL) preferable
  • Knowledge of app development (Ionic2+, iOS, XCode) preferable
  • Ability to work independently and think methodically and creatively
  • Very good German or English skills
  • Motivation und commitment
