The aim of the Transfer Center coordinated by the FZI was to create a sustainable platform for classifying the status and further development of new innovative robotics components, services, and applications, as well as for exchanging information about them. To achieve this, a comprehensive knowledge platform was created, and various events were organized to promote the formation of a new service robotics community in Germany.
Sustainable results of the project include the aforementioned RimA knowledge platform (link below), the RimA discourse forum (link below), the establishment of the RimA Summer School, and scientifically published research results on benchmarking. Numerous workshops and training courses were also held during the project period, access to benchmarking laboratories in Bonn and Karlsruhe was offered, and transfer events were held for various target groups.
In this research focus, the FZI concentrates on practical research into the key technology of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Innovative AI solutions are developed and transferred to application areas such as mobility, robotics, healthcare technology, logistics, production, and supply and disposal on behalf of our partners and customers.
