Lara Schweickart studied electrical engineering and information technology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), specializing in systems engineering. She wrote her master's thesis entitled "Conceptualization of a simulator for testing temporally distributed, text-based interactions in the context of a medical device app" at the FZI.

Since July 2021, she has been working as a research assistant in the Embedded Systems and Sensors Engineering (ESS) research department.
