AXEL Startup Demo Day 2026
AXEL startups present their innovations for the energy transition
On March 31, startups from the 16th team training program of AXEL—Der Energie-Accelerator will present their innovations for the energy transition at the FZI House of Living Labs.
For six weeks, the startups have been working on their value propositions, business models, and pitch decks, and on this day, they will present themselves to investors, partners, and interested parties.
The Demo Day follows a format similar to a sports tournament and is designed to draw significant attention to innovative energy technologies in a fun and engaging way. The best energy startups from this batch will be selected through preliminary rounds, semifinals, and the final. All participants are invited to vote for their favorites in each round—and thus (in conjunction with a jury) help decide who advances to the next round or wins the trophy.
FZI department head and energy expert Fabian Kern serves as a mentor in the AXEL Online program and will participate in the event as a jury member.
