Innovation, Strategy and Transfer

Jennifer Sonneck works as a research associate at the FZI Research Centre for Information Technology in the research area Innovation, Strategy and Transfer (IST) in the department Foresight, Strategy and Innovation (FSI).

She studied Industrial Design (B.A.) in Pforzheim and Design and Communication Strategy (M.A.) in Augsburg. Then she completed her doctorate at the TU Braunschweig in the field of planning and communication processes in large-scale construction projects at the Institute of Steel Construction under Prof. Klaus Thiele and Dr.-Ing. Corinna Bath (Dr.phil.).

From 2017 to 2019 she was a Christoph Lichtenberg doctoral scholarship holder in the doctoral programme: Configurations of Human-Machine and Gender – Interdisciplinary Analyses of Technology Development, at the TU Braunschweig.

From 2013 to 2016, she worked as a research assistant at Furtwangen University's Institute for Humans, Technology and Participation. Here she conducted research in the fields of participatory design, health sciences, human-machine interaction and ambient assisted living (AAL).
