ANYMOS2
Competence Cluster Anonymization for Interconnected Mobility Systems in the Research Network "Anonymisierung für eine sichere Datennutzung“ of the BMFTR
Start: 01/2026
End: 12/2028
Anonymisation and pseudonymisation as key technologies for the automotive and public transport sectors, ANYMOS enables data protection and data-driven innovation.
The second funding phase of ANYMOS focuses on the impact of the proposed policy requirement to provide mobility data. This requirement primarily concerns data relating to transport infrastructure (static) and the operation of mobility services (dynamic). However, it is often difficult to distinguish this data from information about users’ behaviour and preferences (at an individual level), which frequently results in the data being linked to specific individuals. The ANYMOS projekt develops technical solutions to reconcile open data provision with the requirements of providers of innovative, data-driven mobility solutions.
In addition to coordinating the ANYMOS competence cluster, the FZI is responsible for technology transfer to industry. In collaboration with its partners, the FZI develops and demonstrates use cases. The FZI also takes a holistic view of both legal and technical aspects in relation to use cases and data-driven innovations. The project also examines potential attack vectors targeting pseudonymised and anonymised data, as well as the generation and use of synthetic data. In addition, the FZI is continuing to develop and enhance the toolkit created during the first funding phase,
