Jonas Saupe studied Industrial Engineering and Management at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology with a focus on operations research and logistics. He wrote his master's thesis on a solution method for an optimization problem from project scheduling.

In June 2023, he joined the Logistics and Supply Chain Optimization department of the Information Process Engineering (IPE) division at FZI as a research assistant. He works on applications of mathematical programming in logistics and production.
