Dr.-Ing. Stefan Otten completed his master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), specializing in Systems Engineering. His research focuses on the development and validation of future vehicle systems, data-driven development, and the use of AI methods. He earned his Ph.D. at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) under Prof. Eric Sax, with a thesis on model-based systems engineering in the automotive sector. From 2015 until 2021, he has been Head of Department in the Embedded Systems and Sensors Engineering (ESS) division, responsible for topics relating to automotive systems engineering. Since 2021, he is responsible for the entire division ESS.
