Stefan Otten completed his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with a specification in Systems Engineering. His scientific work focused on the development, verification & validation of vehicle systems, data-driven development and approaches of artificial intelligence. From 2015 until 2021, he has been Head of Department in the Embedded Systems and Sensors Engineering (ESS) division, responsible for topics relating to automotive systems engineering. Since 2021, he is responsible for the entire division ESS.
