TASTE the Future Berlin
Software-defined vehicle - What does this mean for vehicle development in Germany?
Germany faces tough international competition in the development of automotive software. How can a vision be created that leads automotive software from Germany to the top of the world in the face of global competition? This question will be explored at the TASTE the Future Berlin event on May 22 with FZI participation, which will take place in connection with the TASTE transformation hub project.
The current framework conditions for German market participants include successful and therefore only slowly changing industry structures, a high level of regulation, differing political ideas for a future European automotive market and China and the USA turning away from the guiding principle of a free global market.
How can a vision emerge from this that will make automotive software from Germany a world leader? What mission will enable us in Germany to achieve consistently data- and user-centered vehicle development that anticipates future customer requirements today? We want to explore this question together in Berlin on May 22, 2025.
