Job Description

The FZI is a non-profit institution for applied research in information technology and technology transfer. We are looking for a research scientist to support one of our four research divisions at our head office in Karlsruhe as soon as possible and on a full-time basis.

Your Responsibilities

Do you want to shape the mobility of tomorrow? With us you work in an interdisciplinary team on topics relating to innovative intermodal and multimodal mobility concepts and the mobility preferences of users to actively shape the future of mobility. Your activities include the following:

  • Working on research projects in close collaboration with companies
  • Analysing, realising and evaluating new, innovative mobility concepts
  • Developing software solutions in the fields of intermodal and multimodal mobility
  • Consideration of the economic efficiency of mobility concepts and the associated business models

Your Profile

  • Degree in Informatics, Business Informatics or a related subject
  • Very good analytic and modelling competence
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of software engineering and business process management
  • Practical development experience with Java, mobile application development and/or web technologies
  • Prior knowledge in the field of intermodal and multimodal mobility as well as Mobility as a Service (MaaS) is an advantage
  • Independent thinking and working
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Motivation und commitment
