Career

As an industrial engineer, Prof. Dr. Andreas Oberweis is primarily concerned with bridging the gap between business process engineering and software engineering. Here, his main focus is on end-to-end modeling and ensuring quality requirements. Current research questions relate to eCollaboration, social software and the consideration of mobility aspects in business process management.

Andreas Oberweis is Vice Dean of the Department of Economics and Management and Deputy Speaker of the competence field Organisation and Service Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
