The Board of Scientific Directors is made up of the directors of the  research areas who work as professors at
universities. Their goal is to transfer their research results to industry  by using the FZI’s infrastructure for this purpose.
In addition, the Board of Scientific Directors advises the Board of Executive Directors on internal science and research policy issues, expansion and financial planning, and offers counsel to the research divisions on their activities.
