Career

As an industrial engineer with a doctorate in economics, Prof. Dr. Christof Weinhardt is an expert in information management and market engineering and is primarily concerned with interdisciplinary research. This allows the greatest possible synergy potential to be exploited in the design of innovative IT and business processes.

Particularly in the current times, I see it as urgently necessary, both economically and socially, to let people participate in important decisions – at work, in social life, in the cultural sector and, above all, in political matters. That's why we need to understand even better how we can also use digitization for this purpose; we call it 'Digital Citizen Participation'.
