Werdegang

Martin Trat did his undergraduate studies in Business and Engineering with a focus on Automotive Engineering / Cybernetics at Bayreuth University. During his graduate studies at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology he continued his major and profoundly dedicated himself to the disciplines Machine Learning and Vision. In 2019, within the context of a research stay in Chicago, he worked on artificial-intelligence-based scrap prediction for highly automated rotary machinery.

He has been working as a research assistant at FZI since 2017 and, after his graduation, commenced his scientific career at FZI in the team Process and Data Management in Engineering.

Advised by Prof. Dr. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h. c. Ovtcharova, he conducts his research on the application of Artificial Intelligence.
