This is how you find us in Karlsruhe:
The FZI is centrally located in the Oststadt district of Karlsruhe and is easily accessible by public transportation. The Karl-Wilhelm-Platz and Hauptfriedhof stops are within walking distance.
For visitors arriving by car, there is ample free parking behind the FZI main building on Rintheimer Straße. Currently (as of May 2026), however, access to the underground parking garage there is only possible via the exit, which makes it difficult. Additionally, there is no access to the intercom system.
The nearest major airports are Frankfurt am Main and Stuttgart. Both offer direct train connections to Karlsruhe. Other airports are located in Strasbourg and Baden-Baden.

Das FZI liegt zentral in der Oststadt von Karlsruhe und ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln problemlos zu erreichen. Die Haltestellen Karl-Wilhelm-Platz sowie Hauptfriedhof befinden sich in Laufweite.
Für Besuchende, die mit dem Auto anreisen, stehen Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage zur Verfügung. Bitte beachten: Die Einfahrt befindet sich in der Rintheimer Straße 11/13. Autos dürfen ausschließlich auf den FZI-Parkplätzen (Nr. 1–45 und 52–60) abgestellt werden.
Die nächsten Großflughäfen sind Frankfurt am Main und Stuttgart. Beide verfügen über direkte Bahnverbindungen nach Karlsruhe. Weitere Flughäfen befinden sich in Straßburg und Baden-Baden.

Our branch office can be found in the center of Berlin and is very easy to reach by public transit. The Stadtmitte subway stop is in the immediate vicinity.
Please note: The offices of the FZI Berlin branch are located on the 5th floor of the atrium and can be reached by elevator B.
For visitors arriving by car, parking is available in the underground garage. The entrance is located at Kronenstr. 17.
