The Cyber Resilience Act explained for businesses and an introduction to the Bühl Cybersecurity Netzwerk
The Cyber Resilience Act and cyberattacks pose complex challenges for companies. This event provides valuable insights into regulatory requirements and cybersecurity, and offers the chance to network with regional peers and provide mutual support in an emergency.
The Cyber Resilience Act imposes new requirements on companies with digital products – ranging from secure development processes to the handling of vulnerabilities and security incidents. At the same time, dealing with cyberattacks remains an ongoing challenge in day-to-day business operations. This event is aimed at companies and IT managers from Bühl and the surrounding area who want to understand regulatory requirements and strategically enhance their cybersecurity.
Through concise technical presentations, the legal and technical aspects of the Cyber Resilience Act are explained in a practical and easy-to-understand manner. The program is complemented by demonstrations of realistic attack scenarios that illustrate typical vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
In collaboration with the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), the FZI has developed the open-source training platform CAVE for government agencies. Here, participating IT experts take on the role of hackers. This gives them a better understanding of how attacks unfold and where specific areas for improvement may lie within their own organizations. In the future, a similar program will be developed on this basis for companies in the Bühl region.
Building the Bühl Cybersecurity Netzwerk
A key element of the event is the establishment of the Bühl Cybersecurity Netzwerk. The goal is to create a long-term network of companies in the region and foster a trusting dialogue, both for prevention and in the event of an emergency. Through regular forums for exchange and direct contacts, a robust structure is created that enables rapid support and practical solutions in the event of cyber incidents.
