Laurenz Adolph studied Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc.) and Computational Engineering Science (M.Sc.) at the Technische Universität Berlin (TU Berlin). Since October 2021, he has been working as a research associate in the ESS-ESM department at FZI – Berlin branch.
In parallel, he is pursuing his PhD at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) within the research group of Prof. Sax at the Institut für Technik der Informationsverarbeitung (ITIV).
His research focuses on:
Safety assurance of highly automated connected vehicles
Generation of video sequences for the investigation of automated driving functions
Development processes for future automated vehicles
