REFRESH YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND CONNECT
F5
We don’t just quench your thirst for knowledge. Start your day with us with research impulse, croissant and coffee.
At the F5 dialog and breakfast format at the FZI branch office in Berlin, the FZI informs in short impulse lectures about current topics from application research and at the same time strengthens the exchange and networking between research, politics and associations on site.
The digital transformation poses new challenges for business and politics as well as society: As a fundamental upheaval process, it radically changes strategies, communication, corporate cultures, organizations, value chains and operational processes. Although different internal challenges arise depending on the industry and sector, there are great similarities between the methods to successfully manage the ongoing digitization.
The event series F5 – REFRESH YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND CONNECT aims to provide information on such relevant methods, future-oriented research and current issues from the fields of computer science and digitization every three months across institutions and thus stimulate interdisciplinary discussions.
Exchange pays off!
As a networking format, F5 – REFRESH YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND CONNECT sees itself particularly as a dialogue platform from which all local stakeholders should benefit: On the one hand, the FZI would like to use its expertise to offer political, social and economic actors in areas of digitization background information and knowledge on current scientific research topics, as well as support and train them in their individual challenges. On the other hand, the FZI learns relevant knowledge about current hurdles and difficulties from practice through personal exchange to respond to them adequately – with projects, concepts and professional know-how.
Make research visible and tangible!
The F5 – REFRESH YOUR KNOWLEDGE event series combines education, refreshment and networking in equal measure within the framework of a keynote speech followed by a discussion: While FZI speakers inform about new issues, for example in cyber security or democracy in the digital age, participants gain new food for thought over croissants and coffee and can then both exchange ideas and network – a successful start to the day!
