Dr. Jana Deckers completed her master's degree in industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2015. From 2015 to 2016, she has been a research assistant in the Institute for Information Management in Engineering (IMI) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Since 2016, she worked in the Process and Datamanagement in Engineering (PDE) department at the FZI. Since 2017, she has headed the PDE department and is FZI contact person for the application field of production. Her dissertation, "Methodik eines echtzeitfähigen Feedbackraums für produzierende Unternehmen unter Einbeziehung des gesamten Wertschöpfungsnetzwerks",” was published in 2024.
