Philipp Schenkel studied mathematics at ETH Zurich, focusing on machine learning. Since June 2023, he has worked as a research associate in the field of Embedded Systems and Sensors Engineering. His research focuses on generative AI, particularly world models for automotive applications. He is especially interested in learning compact representations of image and video data.
