Sarai Eilebrecht studied computer science at the Karslruhe Institute of Technology with focus on security and cryptography as well as theoretic foundations on computer science. Her research focusses on provable security and secure multiparty computation.

Since September 2021, she is a research scientist in the research division Cybersecurity and Law. Since March 2026, she also runs the department for cryptographic research.
