Timo Lizak studied mechanical engineering at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and completed his master's degree in June 2026, specializing in production engineering. He wrote his master’s thesis, titled "Computer Vision for Automated Optical Inspection and Condition Assessment for Remanufacturing" at wbk in Karlsruhe (KIT).
During his master's program, he worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Information Management in Engineering (IMI) at KIT.

Timo Lizak has been working as a research assistant in the PDE department since September 2026.
