Personal mobility is a critical factor in a society’s economic success; in particular, the ability to balance family and work depends on it.
For complex and flexible daily routines, the car is currently generally regarded as the only viable option. This is partly a problem of acceptance or perception, as alternative modes of transport and multimodal mobility are considered unreliable. At present, mobility and route planning always takes place within the context of a primary mode of transport; alternative modes are only occasionally planned for the last mile. The MobAPlan project aims to demonstrate that integrated planning of daily activities and the resulting mobility needs is technically feasible.
The aim is to design and develop a prototype planning assistant (MobAPlan) that helps users plan their daily activities, taking into account their individual mobility preferences and health goals.
Intelligent Transportation Systems and Logistics

Dazu entwickelt das FZI integrierte Mobilitätssysteme – von der Fahrzeugautomatisierung über die Anwendung von KI in Verkehrssystemen bis zur urbanen Mobilität und Logistik.
