Future Initiative Test Field Urban Robotics
1. Stakeholder Networking Event
The Vision: With the Test Field Urban Robotics, Karlsruhe is becoming a hub for the development, testing, and optimization of new robotics products and services in real-world environments. To ensure a needs-based approach, we are bringing together the relevant stakeholders at a networking event.
We aim to create an infrastructure that specifically addresses development, research, and regulatory issues to enhance the cost-effectiveness, robustness, and social acceptance of robotic systems in urban environments.
To realize this vision, we are developing a concept for a test field – a real-world laboratory for robotics in inner-city areas.
The event
Our first stakeholder event will focus on representatives from industry and business as well as from public institutions.
The goal is to discuss application scenarios, identify specific needs, and leverage synergies.
